Cutter Project - winners of the 2011 BETT Environmental Sustainability Award
At an awards ceremony held at the London Park Lane Hilton, on 12th January 2011, Cutter Project was chosen to receive the 2011 BETT Environmental Sustainability Award.
The judges commented
"Judges liked the possible cost-reductions for schools, remote access and ease of management.
Judges were impressed with this practical solution to a common problem for all schools. Cutter systems replace typically 60% to 80% of traditional desktop PCs in an organization with smaller, leaner devices - or can recycle existing PCs. This can save on energy costs as well as improving a school's carbon footprint."
Naturally we are delighted to have received this award, which is testimony to the hard work put in by our engineering and product development departments as well as the invaluable input and support from our customers.
Although Cutter is notionally the 'winner' of the award, the real winners are our customers, who save money, energy and time, and the environment which benefits from lower carbon emissions and lower electronic waste disposal requirements.
In fact, when the environment benefits, we all become winners.
